Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.
Your New Role
The primary role of the Legal IT System Analyst is to ensure the development and support of business applications related to Ferring support functions with a special focus on managing the legal applications used for contract management, intellectual property, trademarks and more. This role will be responsible for driving high quality support and efficient delivery of changes across cloud and on premise applications supporting global business processes. As a Legal IT System Analyst you will manage and support business applications following ITIL Service Management practices, analyse functional requirements, provide technical analysis/assessments and deliver technical design specifications. It will be your responsibility to analyse change requests and drive technical implementations using external partners when required, deliver project related
tasks in a timely manner and according to Ferring IT and Quality standards and act as moderator/facilitator in regards to communication and interaction within/from own team/customers. Finally you will stay informed about technology developments in order to identify new roadmap items, areas of opportunity, innovation projects and potential shared topics with other competence centre colleagues.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a talented individual with a University degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You also need to have IT background, more than 3 years of experience with cloud based systems management, more than 3 years of experience working with business applications deployed across multiple geographies and good understanding of business processes modelling and system architecture. Experience within the legal IT domain will be an asset as well. You need to have excellent communication skills and be capable of building & keeping good working relation with end users, understanding needs and finding solutions supporting requirements within the Global IT standards. You also need to be an open minded, highly analytical and well-structured individual with good interpersonal skills.
