Hundreds of our company applications are using data on a daily basis. Ensuring that data is available consistently in all of them creates a huge challenge. With new technologies like the Internet of Things the amount of data we produce will explode even faster. In parallel Privacy is becoming more and more a sensitive topic and regulations are pushing us to ensure that we know at all times where which data is in our systems. Because of this, good Data Governance is very high on our company agenda. That is why we want to invest in people that can make data accessible in a safe way, understandable for our business and actionable. As a Data Governance Engineer, you will become part of a team of motivated people, making decisions better through data.

PROFLE
- You participate in the implementation of an Enterprise Data Governance Program
- You take an active role as the owner of the new Data Governance Solution
- You implement Data Lineage and set-up controls to ensure the accuracy and quality of data
- You work closely together with the Data Architecture team
- You enter a dynamic Data Community that promotes team work and shared success
- You have an aspiration to think functionally along
Preferred education/ qualifications :
- Min 2 years of experience in java development combined with a genuine data interest.
- Knowledge of the following technologies is a great plus: Collibra DGC, collibra connect, collibra on the go, java SE, mulesoft, anypoint runtime mgr, anypoint studio, oracle db, svg, webservices, json, html, javascript, linux
- Degree in Information/Computer Science or equivalent (e.g. Commercial Engineering) and minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Experience in working in cable / telecommunications industry is a plus

- Multi-lingual capability (English/Dutch) is a must
