Introduction

We are looking for an established Full-Stack Web Developer, responsible for designing, coding and modifying our web applications. From improving loading time and developing layout all the way to server-side coding. You will be working in a small team of experienced web and database developers.

As a team, you will maintain existing applications and develop new functionality for our Client Financial Services solutions for financial institutions. Next to that, you will contribute ideas for optimization and innovation throughout the entire development process, participate in community driven programs such as the UI Guild and leaving your mark by advocating lessons learned to other teams. You will participate in the analysis of changes that need to be made to the product and apply your expertise to solve challenging technical problems while working in an Agile environment.

Function information

You will be maintaining our existing applications and join forces with the team to develop new functionality for our Financial Services solutions for financial institutions. Doing so, you will gather input straight from our customers, market managers or product managers.

• Apply your expertise and advice in the creation and maintenance of software design

• Implement the requirements based on agreed designs and conventions

• Take the lead in smaller projects: planning, progress follow up, reporting and communication

• Write well-designed, testable (and unit tested), efficient code by using the best software development practices

• Provide 2nd line support on the applications developed within your domain

• Contribute to further extending our CI/CD pipeline with additional automations around testing, performance measuring, deployments & security scans

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science

Essential:

• Proven working experience in web development (ASP.NET, MVC, Angular)

• Excellent written and spoken English communication

• A solid understanding of how web applications work (incl. security, session management, and best development practices) and concepts such as MVC, MVVM, Ajax, JSON, XML, HTTP requests, etc.

• Experience in front-end technology, i.e. JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, Material Design

• Accustomed to design and deliver web services through REST APIs

• Familiarity with object-oriented concepts and software design patterns

• Adequate knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle

• Experience with Data Access Technologies and ORMs

• Hands-on experience with IIS
