Job Overview and Responsibilities
MAIN MISSIONS OF THE POSITION
50% ISSC BeNeLUX-
Within the Solvay Business Services organization (SBS) and being part of the Information Services (IS), the IS Site Service Coordinator (ISSC) will be responsible for delivering locally IS Services for the 250 employees of Solvay BeNeLUX (*) (PC support & supply (Helpdesk, on-site support), Server Management, Local IS applications, specific IS needs for Laboratory, Engineering, etc.

This role covers all sites in the BENELUX region, Solvay Campus excluded.

Manage standard and non-standard requests made

Act as an escalation point for end-users or Service Desk where difficult or controversial tickets are received.

Manage, analyze customer complaints and recurrent incidents and propose solutions or areas for improvement.

Follow up projects to ensure they are delivered on time / in full / under budget, and according to the project planning.

Manages local services provided by partners (hardware & software support, externals) and cooperate with IS purchasing team.

Validate if provided services correspond to what contracts describes.

Actively participate to the implementation of new IT solutions/services/changes for service desk and deploy global solutions

Contribute to the infrastructure actions of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures

Collaborate with technical IT and with global services (WAN, telephony, ...) and escalate when necessary

Act as Local Security Officer in support of the Regional Security Officer to deliver and follow up the SISO tasks.

Work in partnership with ISSC Solvay Campus
50% Infra Server Manager BENELUK-
Contribute and optimize of the Datacenter in BeNeLUK.

Contribute to the implementation of new IS solutions/services/changes for the datacenter in the BeNeLUK and deploy global solutions.

Define, in collaboration with the customer, IS needs and analyze their feasibility.

Follow up on server projects to ensure they are delivered in time according to the global and regional roadmap.
Education and Experience
- You have at least a bachelor degree (administrative, executive assistant or similar orientation)

Minimum 2 years working experience in Information Services inside international & industrial environment
Skills
- You are very comfortable with the use of IT tools (Google Apps, MS Office, …) and SAP and are open to develop learning of new tools.

You have an excellent ability to prioritize tasks and projects to optimize the daily operations

You are customer oriented and have a professional level of communication (written and verbal).

You have good knowledge of IS hardware management (PC, servers, printers, …)
